Course Description
Algebra II is a Texas Essential Knowledge and Skills (TEKS) aligned course that extends students' understanding of algebraic concepts and prepares them for college, career, and advanced mathematics courses. Students will explore polynomial, rational, exponential, logarithmic, radical, and trigonometric functions while developing problem-solving, reasoning, and mathematical communication skills.
This course utilizes resources from All Things Algebra, teacher-created materials, technology applications, and TEKS-aligned assessments to support student learning.
Course Objectives
Students will:
- Analyze and represent functions algebraically, numerically, graphically, and verbally.
- Solve equations and inequalities using multiple methods.
