Summer Strength and Conditioning Schedule
Summer Strength and Conditioning
We are excited to announce that we will be able to begin Summer Strength and Conditioning beginning June 8th. As a staff we are prepared to meet the UIL guidelines to ensure the safety of all involved. Some of the protocols we will be stressing and have in place are:
- The use of small and consistent groups
- Hand sanitizer stations
- Disinfecting equipment after each use
- Appropriate distancing of athletes
This is a group effort and we also need our athletes to help out as well to make this the safest, most efficient environment possible. Here is what we need from all of you:
- Conduct a daily self-screening for symptoms of the COVID virus. Do not attend if you have any of these symptoms.
- Bring your own water bottle daily. There will be no shared water stations during the workout.
- Use proper social distancing techniques before, during, and after workouts
- Do not gather or linger before or after the workouts. Arrive at your designated time and then leave promptly after so that we can begin sanitizing for the next group.
- Come dressed and ready to workout. No athlete will be allowed to use the locker room areas.
- If you would like to wear a mask/face covering please provide your own and you can wear it throughout the workout.
We will have multiple time slots in order to accommodate all of our athletes while still keeping them in small groups. Your child should know what time he has been designated for workout. This program is COMPLETELY OPTIONAL. If you do not feel comfortable attending please stay at home. Our goal time will be for each workout to be 90 minutes. If any additional sport-specific training is to be done the coaches will notify your child.
